Feng Shui

A BIT OF HISTORY ABOUT FENG SHUI :

Feng Shui is an ancient art that considers and studies the movement of energy (Qi) in the environment, in man and in the universe.

Through particular techniques, we try to transmit this Qi at all levels, for the spiritual and material growth of the being.

Qi has always been considered a clean and orderly source of energy, beneficial for man and his environment.

Ambient Qi must be able to freely enter our homes and move without obstacles or barriers of any kind.

If the Qi slows down or is blocked, for example in areas of the house where there is dirt or clutter or a lot of useless things, this Qi is transformed into Sha Qi, which is an energy harmful to the person (on all levels).

SHA Qi as an energetic disturbance: a pillar in the center of the room, a dark, closed room full of objects, corners, protruding poles. All this disturbs the energy of the environment and of the person, his life and his psyche.

Feng Shui is a method of reading the relationships that exist between a person and their internal and external environment. The objective of Feng Shui is to avoid or mitigate the accumulation of Sha Qi (negative energy) at all levels.

There are 3 main schools of Feng Shui;

THE SCHOOL OF FORM :

It is the oldest: originally it was based solely on the observation of the natural landscape and therefore where and how to build houses or temples.

The school of shape states, that in nature the most harmonious things have a rounded shape and that within these shapes Qi, can be transmitted in the most correct way.

Today modern man lives in square and pointed structures: in fact, his physical and spiritual health and his relationship with the environment, are of a very low level.

He has lost the fundamental relationship with the spirit of nature, favoring a solely mental conception of his life and continuous useless material needs.

The school recognizes and analyzes the presence of the 4 celestial animals in the environment, then all the calculations are made based on how the site where you want to build a house is made.

In the school of form a compass is not needed to calculate directions: in fact, if we look ahead we find south, behind us is north, to the right is east and to the left is west.

Behind the building you should find the sacred turtle: a mountain (to the north).

Dragon and tiger are instead hills that must be on the left (dragon) and right (tiger) of the house.

In the center of the four symbolic animals is the snake that represents the earth.

THE SCHOOL OF THE COMPASS :

This school uses the basic criteria of the school of form and also calculates the position of the house, in relation to the actual directions of the stars and planets.

Today in China, this school is considered the most reliable and serious, but also the most complex.

It is based on the deepest principles of the I Ching and the entire study is based on the calculation of the Pa kua, of the anterior and posterior heavens (arrangement of natural forces) and to make it simpler, this wonderful school also includes all the complex Chinese astrology in its calculations.

In fact, the Kua number (trigram number) is always calculated (with various systems), which corresponds to the person’s name and date of birth.

Once all the calculations are made, objects, colors, frequencies, sounds and much more are used to harmonize the person and their environment according to cosmic cycles and the intelligence of nature.

THE SCHOOL OF BLACK CAPS :

This is the most modern school of Feng Shui; It was founded in 1986 by an initiate named Lin Yun.

Its principles somewhat follow Tantric Buddhism and Taoism.

According to this school, the front door of the house always faces north and from this direction all the others are calculated and the Pa kua of the rear sky with all its laws is applied to the environment.

In China this school is not given much consideration, however it is studied and practiced due to its simplicity and appears to be very effective.

The great Masters use all three schools together. Everything is changing and always different and therefore all knowledge is used in the best way.

How Feng Shui works – Theories:

In Feng Shui, great importance is given to living in harmony with the environment.

The earth has its meridians (energy lines) and we must arrange our being, our home and everything that concerns us, in harmony with the energy of the earth.

The energy around us is very powerful, so it can be positive or extremely negative for us: this is the art of Feng Shu.

Ambient energy can bring illness, bad luck and loss, or just the opposite.

The practice of Feng Shui, consists precisely of capturing and transmitting positive energy, exploiting energy lines in our favor, for our growth at all levels (especially spiritual).

Capturing positive Qi is capturing the BREATH OF THE DRAGON!!
