Stomach and intestinal pain

The stomach and intestines are the center of our well-being. The transformation of food begins in the stomach which, if it does not present certain nutritional qualities, digestibility and good assimilation, initially creates problems for the entire digestive process. The nutritional theme is very broad and complex and we will not stop to address it here.

Let’s return to the transformation of food, which continues in the small intestine for the absorption of nutrients and subsequently in the large intestine for the elimination of waste.

There is also an important energetic relationship between the stomach and large intestine, forming part of the second of the six divisions, called Yang Ming, according to the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In fact, the stomach and large intestine are both in contact with the environment in the human body. external: while the first processes food, the second eliminates waste.

Having said this, when for various reasons the perfect functioning of this metabolic process is not ensured, digestion becomes slow and difficult, with collateral situations of excessive accumulation of toxins. If the transformation and elimination are not carried out correctly, the substances nutrients are transformed into a poison, the toxicity of which will be reflected on a psychic level and will cause suffering within the gastric and/or intestinal mucosa.

The stomach is particularly sensitive to emotional stress. Emotional disorders can inhibit its functions, or excessively stimulate the production of gastric juices which can cause gastritis or, worse, gastroduodenal ulcers.

Likewise, the large intestine is associated with the same disorders caused by anxiety and stress, due to social, work or family problems. The psycho-physical associations manifest themselves with irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhea or constipation and diverticulosis. Other widespread symptoms are the formation of intestinal gas, overweight, tiredness, irritability, water retention, etc. The general level of energy is closely linked to the proper functioning of the large intestine. In the ancient Chinese text of the Nei Jing, the large intestine was considered responsible not only for physical constipation, but also for emotional and mental constipation, caused by old and toxic emotions and thoughts, which should also be promptly eliminated, to find a beneficial renewal.

Plantar Reflexology promotes improvement in three areas: congestion, inflammation and tension. The first objective is to restore general balance, but also in particular with acupressure in the reflex points of the foot, corresponding to the stomach and intestine organs.

The pain-relieving effect of Plantar Reflexology is the second most commonly sought after objective by recipients. It is effectively achieved by stimulating the production of endorphins through acupressure. It should be added that a thorough evaluation of the causes triggering the pain syndrome must subsequently be undertaken.

Each person has their own personal sensitivity and their own authentic way of perceiving the impulses and stimulations exercised by the operator.

And each operator has his own personal sensitivity in being able to evaluate, understand and act on every single person who requires a cycle of treatments.
